Sainsbury supermarket has recalled its own-brand watercress due to an E. coli outbreak that has made 15 individuals ill. If you have recently bought this product off of the local economy, 48th Medical Group Public Health recommends discarding the product immediately.

The recall is precautionary and no traces of contamination have been found in the products. The Food Standard Agency is continuing with the on-going investigation.
