The 48th Fighter Wing is gearing up to celebrate its Wings & Wheels event Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England. Department of Defense cardholders and their families will be able to enjoy carnival rides, static aircraft displays, food and drinks, live entertainment and a fireworks display in the evening.

Attendees will also be treated to a performance by the RAF Falcons Parachuting Display Team.

Throughout the day, between noon and 5 p.m., Airmen and their families will be able to cast their votes for their favorite cars and motorbikes and enter to win prizes at the 48th Force Support Squadron marquee tent.

Shuttle buses will be available to transport event attendees beginning at 11:30 a.m. and will run every 30 mins. Shuttle pick up points will start at Liberty Village and include the carpark and Eagles’ Landing carpark. There will also be a dedicated bus from the main car park location at the Strike Eagle Complex to the event for the majority of patrons who live off-base.
