Spring is on the way

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England --  I know it's hard to believe based on the current weather, but in a few short months we'll be basking in the beautiful springtime weather of eastern England. I know what you're thinking, "spring is too far away, and I can't even think about it right now."

Well, I'd like to take you away to thoughts of your summertime garden at a different place and time. Remember those great flowers and vegetables you harvested throughout the growing season. I sure remember the fond days of picking vegetables in the sun and enjoying the taste of fresh vegetables all summer.

Ok, now that I have you thinking of gardens, I need to hear from you on whether or not you are interested in having garden plots for the Liberty Wing family. We are researching the possibilities of carving out some space on RAF Lakenheath for garden plots, and we need to have an idea of how many people are interested.
