Two local boys earn pilot wings
ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England – Max Rowlandson, 5, from Saffron Walden, and Alex Lister, 10, from Licken Village, are immersed into military life while participating in the Pilot for a Day program June 25, 2013. The program, founded March 2012, provides children in the local community fighting life-threatening illnesses the opportunity to spend a fun day distracted from their continuous hospital visits.
