48th EMS Christmas party continues WWII tradition
MILDENHALL, England - Katie (left), 6, and Jazmine, 8, work on Christmas crafts during the 48th Equipment Maintenance Squadron Annual Christmas Party, which was held for U.K. children at the Jubilee Center Dec. 17, 2012. The event, which 48th EMS Airmen have been putting on for 15 years, maintains traditions stemming from World War II when Americans would hold parties and give gifts to local children.
