48th CES gives abandoned hangar new life
ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England - Airman 1st Class Matthew Brown, 48th Civil Engineering Squadron heavy equipment operator, inspects a filter on a pavement sealer machine in Hangar 9 on Feb. 6, 2012. The 48th CES converted the abandoned building into a storage facility protecting assets vital to their mission from the elements. It also allows for a centralized location for materials used in construction projects saving time and making it more efficient. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Connor Estes)
