Canines sniff out STANTA
STANFORD TRAINING AREA, England - 48th Security Forces Squadron K-9 handlers and Gina, 48th SFS military working dog, search an area from improvised explosive devices and enemy insurgents during an exercise, Oct 13, 2011. This is the first time the MWD teams have conducted training at Stanford Training Area, which offers a realistic environment to help train Airmen in a potentially dangerous area. The exercise tested and evaluated the MWD teams on the ability to tactically move through the village while adjusting for threats. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Cory D. Payne)
