Commanders beat the heat

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England - Firefighters from the 48th Civil Engineer Squadron and Col. Scott Benza, 48th Mission Support Group commander, extinguish a mock F-15 fire from a fire truck during a live fire training demonstration on Sept. 22, 2011. Benza along with Lt. Col. Michael Zrostlik, 48th MSG deputy commander, visited the 48th CES firefighters to experience their training. The commanders donned full fire safety equipment, extinguished mock structural fires through newly learned extinguishing techniques and controlled the fire fighting system in the fire trucks as they circled around a mock F-15 fire.
