MAIDSTONE, England - Leeds, widely known as "the loveliest castle in the world," is a fortress built in 1119 by Robert de Crevecoeur. The most famous resident for Leeds castle was King Henry VIII, who made further additions to the structure in the 15th century, converting it to a royal palace for his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. It has served as the home of six of England's medieval queens. (Photo by Heather Estes)
