American Air Day at Duxford
CAMBRIDGESHIRE, England – The 48th Fighter Wing Honor Guard remembers prisoners of war and servicemembers missing in action during American Air Day at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Aug. 19, 2011. The American Air Day provided the local community the opportunity to see what U.S. Air Force members stationed in England do on a daily basis. The day comprised a mix of flying and ground-based activities that featured aircraft and personnel from RAFs Lakenheath and Mildenhall, which included an F-15 and KC-135 flyover.
