Doughnuts, milk and an untold story ... Holocaust survivor shares her mother's experiences of courage and perseverence during horrors of war
RAF LAKENHEATH, England -- Eva Clarke, a Holocaust survivor, chats with Col. Bill Lewis, 48th Fighter Wing vice commander, at the Holocaust Remembrance Week luncheon May 6, 2011. Mrs. Clarke, whose parents were kept prisoner in concentration camps during the war, solely because they were Jewish, spoke at the luncheon as part of the Holocaust Remembrance Week events. She was born on the back of a coal truck, three days before the U.S. Army liberated the camp. (U.S. Air Force photo/Karen Abeyasekere)
