Reenlistment up in the air

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England – 1st Lt. Gary Adams, 56th Rescue Squadron mobility officer in charge, administers the oath of enlistment to Tech. Sgt. Joanne Hale (left), 56th RQS NCO in charge of aircrew flight equipment, and her spouse Tech. Sgt. Billy Hale (middle), 56th Rescue Squadron aerial gunner, while hovering in an HH-60 Pavehawk helicopter Oct. 6. For Tech Sgt. Billy Hale, this reenlistment will be his last one before retiring, and it’s only fitting that it’s with the same squadron he began his Air Force career with. It also has special meaning to both sergeants that they can share in this together. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Connor Estes)
