Armed Services Blood Program visits RAF Lakenheath
ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- Army Staff Sgt. Sylvia Sacco, United States Army Europe Blood Donor Center mobile team NCO in charge, inserts an IV in preparation to draw blood from Airman 1st Class Scott Schreiber, 48th Maintenance Operations Squadron analyst, during the Armed Services Blood Program held at the fitness center Sept. 27. The donation process takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour involving several stations to include registration, physical exam and actual collection of blood.
