Commanders set fitness standard
Rick Lyons, 48th Force Support Squadron Fitness Assessment Cell fitness testing technician, explains to Col. John Quintas, 48th Fighter Wing commander, that his shoulder blade must hit the mat when executing sit-ups during the commander's fitness test at the RAF Lakenheath fitness center July 1. Colonel Quintas and 19 other Airmen completed their fitness tests on the first day the assessment's new standards; 12 passed with 7 - including Colonel Quintas and his vice commander, Col. Bill Lewis - scoring in the "excellent" category. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Alysia Harvey)
