Jessica Wachter, wife of Staff Sgt. Tristen Wachter, (left) 48th Logistics Readiness Squadron, talks with Brittany Schultz, a volunteer for the Airman and Family Readiness Center here, about the benefits of the Military Saves program. When service members and their families take the pledge to save money by submitting a pledge care under the Military Saves program, they not only start building financial security for themselves and their families, their email address is added to a distribution list and they will receive emails throughout the year, which contain financial information to help keep them motivated. The Military Saves program is a Department of Defense initiative that began in February 2007 and is observed by the entire military community the last Sunday in February to the first Sunday in March each year.(U.S. Air Force photo/Capt.
