Myers Way dedicated
Master Sgt. Hendrik Van De Pol, 48th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight chief, unveils the Myers Way street sign during the dedication ceremony Nov. 23. Airmen from the 48th Fighter Wing gathered to pay tribute, dedicate and rename a portion of road on RAF Lakenheath in the memory of Tech. Sgt. Phillip Myers. Sergeant Myers, a 48th CES EOD technician, was killed as result of an improvised explosive device attack while deployed to Afghanistan on April 4, 2009.
