Remembrance Sunday

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- Lt. Col. Brent Vosseller, 48th Operations Support Squadron commander, participates in the British tradition of Remembrance Sunday at the war memorial cenotaph by laying down a poppy wreath in Brandon, England, Nov. 8. Remembrance Sunday is observed the Sunday before Veterans Day and is a way to honor those who died or were injured in war by wearing red poppies and laying poppy wreaths at memorial sites.
