Airmen participate in remote bicycle endurance course
JOINT BASE BALAD, Iraq -- Lt. Cols. Kristen Beals and Randy Green take the second-to-last turn before completing the outdoor segment of their Hotter'N Hell Hundred endurance race Aug. 23. Beals and Green each traversed more than 100 miles on bicycles during the remote version of an event based in Wichita Falls, Texas. Both officers are assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group here: Beals is a general surgeon deployed from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, and Green is a physical therapist deployed from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz.
