Simulation increases real world readiness

Senior Airman Stewart Hall, 48th Medical Operations Squadron Emergency Room technician, sutures an opening where a chest tube was inserted on the cut suit worn by Staff Sgt. Matthew Kosemund, 48th Medical Group NCO in charge of medical simulations, during a car accident exercise at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, July 25, 2013. The cut suit feels like real flesh, which allows for a more realistic training experience. Liberty Airmen utilized various exercise scenarios to maintain readiness and increase proficiency and response time. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Tiffany M. Grigg)
