New laboratory enhances efficiency, saves money
The 48th Civil Engineer Squadron renovated a new fuels laboratory for the 48th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels management flight, which was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, June 27, 2014. The original estimate for the new fuels laboratory was projected at a $750,000 contract, but the overall cost was reduced by 90 percent.
