Blue Flag
First Lt. Francis Gudez, 1st Combat Communications Squadron OIC, describes how his team setup equipment in support of the U.S. forces to U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro, during Blue Flag exercise at Uvda Air Force Base, Israel, Nov. 25, 2013. Shapiro met with personnel from Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Israeli Air Force leaders and other allied partners during their visit. Blue Flag was a multinational aerial warfare exercise hosted by Israel Nov. 24-28, which promoted improved operational capability, combat effectiveness, understanding and cooperation between the United States, Israel, Greece and Italy.
