Wing Christmas tree spreads holiday spirit, savings

The Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Christmas tree stands lit after a ceremony held Dec. 6, 2013. The 48th Fighter Wing kicked off a new holiday tradition by building a Christmas tree rather than buying one, saving the wing $5,600. The tree-lighting ceremony also included caroling, cookies, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Trevor T. McBride/Released)
