Simulation increases real world readiness
Maj. Joshua Young, 48th Medical Surgical Squadron orthopedic surgeon, and Maj. Flora Varghese, 48th MSGS general surgeon, open up the cut suit being worn by Dave Scott, 48th Medical Group medical simulation coordinator, after a mock car accident at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England hospital, July 25, 2013. The cut suit is designed to feel like real flesh which allows for a more realistic training experience. Liberty Airmen utilized various exercise scenarios to maintain readiness and increase proficiency and response time. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Tiffany M. Grigg)
