Soaring into history

The Avro Vulcan XH558, accompanied by an F-15C Eagle assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing, flyover Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Aug. 27, 2015 during a fly over event. This historic event marks the first and last time these aircraft will ever fly together. This particular Vulcan was the first one to be delivered to the RAF and now the last complete Vulcan in the world. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Trevor T. McBride/Released)
