US, UK communities remember heroes

Airmen from the 48th Fighter Wing Honor Guard participate in a Remembrance Day ceremony in Lakenheath Village, England, Nov. 8, 2015. Local community members participated by laying poppy wreaths to show respect and reverence to fallen heroes. In the U.K., wearing red poppies and laying poppy wreaths at memorial sites is a tradition to honor those who lost their lives or were injured during war.
