Leadership from 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing acknowledges 48th Fighter Wing response, recovery actions

U.S. Marine Corps Maj. General Michael A. Rocco, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing commanding general, headquartered at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Ca., flew to Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, to personally acknowledge 48th Force Support Squadron Airmen, Dec. 8, 2015, who participated in the crash recovery of an F/A-18C Hornet that resulted in a fatality near RAF Lakenheath in October.
