Boots on ground
The boots I’ve worn throughout my Air Force career have led me on many journeys across the globe, from Basic Military training in Texas, to my current duty station at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England. They’ve carried me on search and recovery missions for fallen brothers and sisters, flown over Scotland in an HH-60G Pave Hawk, touched together saluting President Barack Obama, jumped with excitement as I posed with actor and comedian Rob Riggle, and made the long walk across Arlington National Cemetery in honor of those who’ve paid the ultimate sacrifice.
