U.S. Airman death at RAF Feltwell

RAF LAKENHEATH, England -- A U.S. Air Force Airman was pronounced dead at RAF Feltwell, England, Sept. 11.

The Airman was found unconscious in their work space and attempts by emergency responders to revive the member were unsuccessful.

The cause of death is currently unknown, and details will not be released until an investigation is complete.

Following next of kin notifications, the service member has been identified as Staff Sgt. Ivone Rios.

Rios was a cyber transport systems maintainer assigned to American Forces Network-United Kingdom, a tenant unit of the 48th Fighter Wing.
