Welcome from the Commandant

Congratulations on being selected to attend Mathies Airman Leadership School! This marks a significant milestone in your military career--your first Enlisted Professional Military Education experience. The curriculum is designed to enhance your ability to lead and manage diverse teams in a constantly changing environment. Our mission is to challenge, develop, and prepare you to serve as an Air Force Front Line Leader.

While our excellent Cadre Team will do everything in their power to ensure you are successful during your ALS experience, I want to emphasize the course is very demanding and requires your time and energy to ensure you are successful! Your success begins with reading this brochure and familiarizing yourself with our program and policies. Please take the time to ensure your affairs are in order prior to arrival.

I look forward to meeting and interacting with you during your time at Mathies ALS. I'm confident your attendance will be a rewarding experience. Aim high Airmen.
