493rd Fighter Squadron change of command Published April 27, 2007 ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- Lt. Col. Craig D. Wills took command of the 493rd Fighter Squadron in a change of command ceremony April 18. The Glendale, Arizona native took command from Lt. Col. Edward B. Denholm. The squadron has 58 Liberty warriors. The squadron's mission is to guarantee dominant air superiority for the most lethal composite strike team -- the team that leaders choose for the toughest mission -- anytime, anyplace.
