Col. Glenn S. Cameron is the Commander, 48th Mission Support Group, Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom. The 48th Mission Support Group is the second largest in USAFE, with 2,100 personnel, 651 facilities, 1,300 military family housing units valued at $5.6 billion, as well as the largest AAFES and DeCA facilities in the United Kingdom, and five DoDEA schools across three bases.
Col Cameron entered the Air Force in July of 2002 as a graduate of the ROTC program at the California State University, Sacramento. He has served as a design engineer, an Airborne RED HORSE flight commander, a command programmer, Director’s Action Officer as well as Congressional Liaison Officer for Military Construction. His previous experience includes headquarters tours at headquarters Air Force, major command staff as well as multiple deployments, convoy and site leads. Prior to his current assignment, he was the 1st Expeditionary Theater Support Group Commander.
