Jones is the focal point for wisdom at the 48th CPTS Financial Services Counter. Most individuals visiting Jones and her Airmen are troubled, angry or stressed due to a pay problem. Jones ensures her Airman are armed with the proper skills and knowledge to help our customers. She provides strong oversight with an end goal to provide friendly and informed financial assistance to our Liberty Airmen. Jones routinely stays late to research pay issues to ensure problem cases are addressed the same day. It's no surprise, customers send personal recognition emails weekly to the 48th CPTS leadership recognizing Jones for her fast, friendly and accurate financial services support! Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force is important to me because it allows me to serve my country while meeting exciting people and traveling the world. There is no other job in the world that allows you to always have new family and friends wherever you go. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? The accomplishment I am most proud of is completing my bachelor's degree. What are your personal and professional goals? My personal and professional goals are one in the same. I would love to complete my Certified Defense Financial Management professional certification and start working on my master's degree within the next six months. What is your favorite part of your job? The most rewarding part of my job is helping my fellow Airmen and watching their relieved expressions when they realize the 100 percent effort my Airmen and I provided has helped ease their financial hardship.
