Serving in the Air Force gives me the opportunity to serve my country. I get to see how the military impacts the nation. We go through the long work hours and deployments to ensure that others have the rights that are sometimes taken for granted. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? Being able to mentor my subordinates and see them progress in their careers and expanding my career is one of my biggest accomplishments. Throughout life you come in contact with many different types of people with many different backgrounds and values. Knowing that you have a chance to teach them and broaden their minds, as well as having them do the same for you, is a great feeling. Another accomplishment that I am proud of is receiving my Community College of the Air Force degree in Logistics. For some, that goal may seem small and easily attainable, but for me it is much bigger. It's accomplishing what my family (grandparents, parents and siblings) has not, by graduating high school and furthering my education. What are your personal and/or professional goals? Every day I strive to be better than the day before whether it's personally or professionally. I would like to use the knowledge that I gain on a daily basis to encourage and mentor others just as the other individuals have mentored me. I would also like to complete my Bachelors' Degree in Health Science and become a physician assistant. What is your favorite part of your job? The best part of my job is the customers. I get to interact with various people across base and provide them with necessary assets to assist them with their duty or task. I know that in my day, I'm providing equipment that assists in the transition from home station to down range.
