How does the individual portray that core value?
Airman Shane Krafka exemplifies "Excellence in All We Do" when he recently completed the newly developed Crash Damaged or Disabled Aircraft Recovery class extending his qualifications and becoming a valuable asset for the 48th EMS crash recovery section. Furthermore, SrA Krafka assisted in training four new personnel on F-15 Emergency Response Procedures resulting in zero defect ratings for three in-flight emergency responses. Airman Krafka maintains "Excellence in All We Do" with a 100% quality insurance pass rate.


Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me, because it has been in the family for the past three generations and with me being the fourth generation, I look forward to carrying this special tradition.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
The accomplishment I am most proud of is being awarded Senior Airman Below-the-Zone.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My personal and professional goals are to advance in rank at every opportunity given.

What is your favorite part of your job?
To watch an F-15 take off fully loaded and recover it fully depleted.
