How does the individual portray that core value?
Airman Hofmann is one of the first to step-up and accomplishes the 48th EMS mission requirements, improve quality of life issues and enhance base and community relations. His work ethic is second to none because he's always ready and willing to stay late for extended shifts and weekends. His dedication to maintenance has directly contributed to the "Outstanding" rating received during the 2010 Operational Readiness Inspection; the first for U.S. Air Force in Europe in 24 years! It was also the reason he was selected above his peers to lead the F-15 post depot maintenance paint team, applying all USAFE and 48th FW markings on the jet.

He is one of our top volunteers, supporting base and community agencies such as the base food pantry. He also volunteered for the RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath Joint Wing Joan Mann Special Sports Day, coaching more than 20 athletes in five events. As one of EMS's best, Airman Hofmann constantly produces top quality structural repairs for the Wing, as a direct reflection he was submitted for Airman Shop Specialist of the Quarter. He has earned a reputation as one of our most dependable employees and can be counted on for any tasking no matter how big or small. He has proven himself to be an outstanding member of the 48th EMS Bulldog Team and the Aircraft Structural Maintenance section.
