Core Value Portrayed: 'Excellence in All We Do'

How does the individual portray that core value? Staff Sgt. Woodle has proved himself to be one of the best new NCOs. He has never hesitated to be the first to volunteer for extended shifts and weekends in support of aircraft maintenance. He has established himself as a multi-talented mechanic in all aspects of the career field to include metal fabrication, aircraft painting and custom graphic design; he has never delivered an end product that was less than superior craftsmanship. He has continually set the bar of excellence for his peer group and for Airman to follow. Sergeant Woodle was unanimously elected as the squadron booster club president and has led large groups of volunteers for multiple fundraiser opportunities; his efforts are directly responsible for raising more than $2,000 for squadron functions.

No matter what he's involved in he has consistently delivered the best quality maintenance and outstanding effort. He is placed among our most dependable employees and can be counted on for any tasking and request. He is a very valuable asset to the Air Force and we are very honored to have him serving with us here at the 48th EMS.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
My father and grandfather served before me and it gives me a sense of pride to know that I am following in their footsteps, while doing something meaningful for my country.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of making staff sergeant the first cycle.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
Making chief master sergeant and making the best life for my family that I can.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I like getting my hands dirty fabricating parts for the aircraft, and the appearance of the aircraft after we paint them.
