How does the individual portray that core value? Airman Bordeniuk portrays excellence in all we do by always being the first one to work and the last one to leave. He strives every day to better himself by staying in the technical orders to become a great mechanic. He also leads by being a great mentor and trainer to the Airmen below him. Airman Bordeniuk continues to make huge strides towards becoming an NCO and will be an amazing supervisor.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Because people depend on what I do on a day-to-day basis to be ready and accomplish the mission.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
While deployed from Dyess AFB, Texas, we accomplished a 3 Fuel Cell change in half the standard time.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
Completing my Community College of the Air Force degree, bachelor's degree and advancing in my career.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Watching all the aircraft that I have repaired take off and fly.
