How does the individual portray that core value? Tech. Sgt. Burke is a model of the core value "Excellence in All We Do." She demonstrates this core value daily by setting an example for others to look up to and provides leadership for her claims and legal assistance section as well as the legal office as a whole. She also provides quality customer service to the 48th Fighter Wing over a broad spectrum of legal matters from claims to personal and mission-readiness-oriented legal assistance. She has been recognized for her unmatched professionalism by being awarded not only the Wing Staff Agency's 2009 NCO of the Year, but also the 2009 Outstanding Paralegal Airman for the JAG Corps. She is an outstanding example for all Airmen and it has been my honor to serve with her.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? The endless opportunities available for becoming a better person.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? My deployment to Baghdad in 2006 and being presented the 2009 Steve Swigonski Award (Outstanding Paralegal Airman for the JAG Corps).

What are your personal and/or professional goals? Complete a master's degree.

What is your favorite part of your job? Helping and mentoring other Airmen.
