Photo essay | 48th FW stays fit to fight with 8 hour run Published May 13, 2010 By Airman 1st Class Tiffany Deuel 48th Fighter Wing Public Affairs ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England -- The annual 8-Hour Squadron Run kicked off May 7 at the RAF Lakenheath track. A total of 11 squadrons participated for the chance to win the Commander's Trophy. Each squadron member took turns running sections of the track, passing a baton to the next person at each station. The Logistics Readiness Squadron won with a completion of 416 laps. · MDG completed 400 laps · CE completed 384 laps · CS completed 371 laps · OSS completed 347 laps · FSS completed 342 laps · MOS completed 327 laps · EMS completed 292 laps · CMS completed 283 laps · AMXS completed 278 laps · SFS completed 112 laps - (SFS had to discontinue the run due to mission requirements.) view slideshow.
