Airmen from the 48th Surgical Operations Squadron help keep their fellow Airmen fit to fight April 29, 2009 as they performed arthroscopic shoulder surgery on Tech. Sgt. Christopher Campbell, 48th Fighter Wing Public Affairs non-commissioned officer in charge of internal operations. The surgery will help improve mobility in Sergeant Campbell's shoulder. Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that reduces recovery time and may increase the rate of surgical success due to less trauma to the connective tissue.
