Loss of an Airman at RAF Lakenheath

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England --  

An Airman assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing at Royal Air Force Lakenheath was involved in a fatal vehicle accident on Aug. 3 at approximately 2:00 a.m. on base. 

The Airman's name will not be released until 24 hours after the next-of-kin notification.

The incident is currently under investigation.
