Press Release: RAF Feltwell to host annual Fourth of July celebration

The annual Fourth of July celebration, hosted by RAFs Lakenheath and Mildenhall, will, once again, take place at RAF Feltwell.

RAF Feltwell's gates will open on Saturday, July 4 at 12 p.m. until 12 a.m. for the general public to enjoy live music entertainment, carnival attractions, fireworks and much more. An event preview party carnival will held be on Friday, July 3 from 3 to 8 p.m. for government ID card holders.

Some major highlights of the event will include performances by the RAF Red Arrows aerial team and the RAF Falcons parachuting team, in addition to demonstrations by the Old Flying Machine Company, The Fighter Collection and Birds of Prey.

More than 25,000 guests attended last year's Fourth of July event. The celebration has taken place within the RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Feltwell area for more than 20 years.

Area road delays are expected due to the high number of visitors in the area. Shuttle buses will be available on both Friday and Saturday and will run every half hour between the event location and selected pick-up points.
