Hobbies: Work and photography Core Value Portrayed: "Service Before Self" How does the individual portray that core value? Glandon portrays "Service Before Self" every day in everything he does. He can be counted on to finish any last-minute tasks quickly, efficiently and on time. He also isn't afraid to put in the extra hours to make sure the Airmen under his care are taken care of. Glandon leads large multi-shop teams to complete projects prior to required deadlines. His desire for mission accomplishment is evident in his daily service to the 48th Fighter Wing, and going above and beyond for the people counting on his abilities to perform his job. He puts Air Force services ahead of his personal goals to ensure the mission never stops and we continue to be a lethal F-15 fighter wing. Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force has given me the opportunity to be part of something bigger. I feel with every new project and deployment I grow as a person and help others in the process. What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of? I am most proud of working with a team that set up and maintained three prime power plants that provided power to the entire installation. What are your personal and/or professional goals? I want to finish my education by earning an Associates of Applied Science in mechanical and electrical technology. What is your favorite part of the job? My favorite part of my job is being able to see a large project with many moving parts come together at the end of the day.
