Town hall addresses upcoming furlough days
ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England – Kim Saner, 100th Force Support Squadron civilian personnel officer, speaks to RAF Lakenheath Department of Defense civilian employees during a town hall meeting at the Strike Eagle Complex July 1, 2013, to discuss administrative furlough days. A furlough places an employee in a temporary non-duty, non-pay status because of lack of work, reduction or lack of funds, or other non-disciplinary reason. The upcoming government furlough will be 11 days, or 88 work hours, from July 8 to Sept. 30. (U.S. Air Force by Airman 1st Class Dana J. Butler)
