Marine Corps pilot visits brother’s memorial
ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England—Marine Corps Capt. Brett Jones, Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 452 KC-130T Hercules pilot, visits the 48th Operations Support Squadron combat heritage memorial of his brother, Air Force Capt. Kirk Jones, 493rd Fighter Squadron F-15C Eagle pilot, June 4, 2013, prior to returning to the United States from a deployment in the Middle East. The late fighter pilot died in an aircraft accident in 2001 after taking off from RAF Lakenheath on a training mission. This was the first time Jones has seen his brother’s memorial.
