General Franklin visits RAF Lakenheath
ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England - Staff Sgt. Matthew Kosemund, 48th Medical Operations Squadron NCO in charge of medical simulation, explains the functions of the United States Air Forces in Europe Tier 1 Medical Simulation Center to Lt. Gen. Craig Franklin, 3rd Air Force commander, in the medical training complex, Nov. 14, 2012. Franklin visited RAF Lakenheath as part of his immersion since becoming the 3rd AF commander in March. He visited the hospital, IDRC, Hangars 6 and 7, fire department, 56th Rescue Squadron and other areas around the base to familiarize himself with the 48th Fighter Wing members and mission.
