Spirits soar during Pilot for a Day

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England – Capt. Benjamin Donberg (right), 492nd Fighter Squadron pilot, fits Callum Carr, 4-year-old, during a Pilot for A Day tour June 22, 2012. Carr was diagnosed with Ewings carcinoma and has been undergoing treatment for several months. The Pilot for a Day program is new to RAF Lakenheath and provides children in the local community who are fighting life-threatening illnesses or conditions a day of learning and fun as a break from doctor visits.
