48th Medical Group takes the trophy home!

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England – Col. John Quintas, 48th Fighter Wing commander, presents the 2010 Liberty Cup to Staff Sgt. Donald, Byrd, 48th Medical Surgical Squadron nutrition care specialist, who accepted the award on behalf of the 48th Medical Group on Feb. 1. The 48th MDG won the trophy for earning the most points in various athletic events throughout the year. The Commander’s Trophy Challenge consists of competitions in physical training, indoor soccer, intramural flag football and other sports to test which squadron had the fittest Airmen.
