Helo pilot gives toys to Afghani children
BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan -- Local Afghani children enjoy their new toys and crayons provided by 1st Lt. Evan Kelly, deployed from the 56th Rescue Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, England. The toys were sent by Stacey Swift of McLean, Va, who collected them from friends and families across northern Virginia. Lieutenant Kelly, an HH-60G helicopter pilot, coordinated with local Office of Special Investigations agents to deliver the toys. Both Lieutenant Kelly and Ms. Swift will continue to collect toys and provide them to local children throughout the remainder of his tour. (U.S. Air Force photo courtesy of 1st Lt. Evan Kelly)
