Plant protector
Paul Bone, a contractor hired to maintain the grouds around RAF Lakenheath England, mows the grass here May 27, 2009. While mowing the grass may seem easy, many areas of the base contain rare and protected plant life, such as the wild grape hyacinth and perennial knawel. Protecting these plants are taken extremly seriously, to the point where some grasslands aren't mowed September through February allowing them to grow freely. Also, there are special mowing techniques used in other areas, which mimics rabbit grazing. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Lausanne Morgan)
